Part Time Childrens Worker St Mary’s
THE PCC is looking for two new Bishop Gilpin Foundation Governors
The PCC would prefer active, communicant members of one of the Team Churches (St Mary’s, St Mark’s, St John’s or St Matthews) to represent them. Candidates should have time to attend early morning or evening meetings around twelve times a term and visit the school during the day at least once a year.
The Governing Body is actively looking to increase the diversity of its governors to be more representative of the diverse school community. As such, we are seeking applications from ethnic minority candidates. Furthermore, to balance the parent representation on the board, we are seeking candidates who do not have or expect to have children in the school for the next three years.
Skills and Experience Wanted: Legal skills around employment law, IT Skills especially cyber security and sustainability. We are also looking to ensure the leadership succession and are interested in candidates who might consider the role of chair or vice chair in the future.
The closing date for applications is Midnight on the 23rd March 2025. Interviews will be held from 4pm on 3rd April 2025 in Bishop Gilpin School.
